The nineteen spectacular villas encompass the rice terraced amphitheatre bowl and the retreats five star facilities. The centrepiece is an astonishing three tier 300sqm infinity swimming pool made from a careful combination of rough and smooth sukabumi green stone. The pool’s extensive infinity edges create a surreal illusion of naturally overflowing and reflecting blocks of water within the lush green rice paddy terraces.

Commanding panoramic views over the infinity pool stands a spectacular and intimate dining gallery and cocktail lounge. An elegant yet uncomplicated and colourful culinary experience awaits guests, with mouth watering specialities from the region conceived and prepared from only the freshest and natural ingredients, handpicked and delivered from the cooler hillside regions and the tropical Balinese ocean waters.

Perched up on a small hill commanding views of the entire resort and the 1 kilometre rice terraced valley is the Yoga Pavilion, lava stone jacuzzi and sunset lounge. During the day the pavilion offers a tension relieving range of hydroponic Jacuzzi treatments and yoga activities. In the early evening the pavilion becomes a relaxation lounge to sip favourite cocktails and gaze at the wonderful spectacle of the sun setting over the seemingly endless rice terraces of Tabanan.

Rice is a true relaxation retreat and prides itself on its uniquely natural, yet contemporary architecture, and its surreal and harmonious setting with nature. This “multi useage” villa concept is designed to provide villa investors with a share of two forms of revenue income for their villa rather than a yield generated simply from conventional overnight accommodation guests.
