Situated in the gulf of Thailand Koh Phangan is the sister island to the world renowned tourist destination of Koh Samui, which attracts in excess of 1 million visitors every year.
Koh Phangan is well known for its full moon party held on Haad Rin Beach, located in the southeast, however Koh Phangan isn’t just about parties. The island is a designated eco tourist destination and over 60% of it is a protected national park offering the visitor ample sightseeing and trekking adventures. In addition to the lush tropical interior Koh Phangan has an array of magical white sand beaches, many of them protected by amazing coral reefs which harbour a myriad of colourful fish and provide excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities.
