The Villas
The spectacular views are undoubtedly the highlight of The Headland, and the six villas, each with its own swimming pool and private sun-deck, have been designed to best take advantage of them.
Natural materials have been used wherever possible, from limed hardwoods to thatched roofing, and exteriors are painted in a chalky celadon to merge into the environment. Surrounding the villas are natural ponds, designed to capture and recycle rainwater and increase the villas self-sufficiency.
All rooms and fittings have been angled with the vistas in mind and in the main living areas, three of four walls comprise glass doors, which can be fully opened to blur the boundaries and create a genuine, outdoors-indoors environment. Clean-lines, a monochrome palette, and an uncluttered decor ensure the view, and the mind, is never overwhelmed.
