Rice Barn Villas

These extremely unusual properties come as a pair and are based on an Indonesian design (most often seen in Bali) where the upstairs of one barn represents the bedroom (large with a veranda looking out to the ocean) and downstairs is a large, luxurious spa bathroom. The other rice barn of the pair which is just a few footsteps away has the kitchen downstairs and the living room upstairs (again with a veranda to make the most of that view). In Bali it is traditional to have separate buildings making up one's home and in the tropics this is perfectly the norm. It rarely rains and is generally about 32 degrees, so have separate living areas actually works very well. Claire has stayed in the Rice Barns which are the 'show villa' at present and can honestly say that they are delightful. Truly boutique and a very funky way to live!

Pandanas Villas

The Pandanas Villas are a designers dream. A beautiful fusion of modernism and traditional Balinese architecture, these properties sprawl over 2,500ft of interior living space (circa 250m2) plus have extensive outdoor terraces and a massive integral infinity pool. The bedrooms are also oversized, the kitchens are to die for (granite worktops, the best of everything!) and the bathrooms again are better than can be found in any luxury spa. The Pandanas Villas will be rented out for thousands of pounds per night, and if you get a chance to visit the Kudat Riviera you will see why. They are breathtaking.

Cocoa Villas

The Coco Villa is the largest and most grand of the designs, covering an enormous 60002ft (over 600m2) of internal living space, with a typically gigantic integral infinity pool, the Coco Villa is absolutely impressive. The villas are set into plots of between 3 and 7 acres and have been designed with a holiday lifestyle in mind, with lots of entertaining space, a swimming pool you can jump into from the lounge and four massive en suite bedrooms.

All the villa plots will be landscaped and will feature infinity pools, day beds, outdoor dining areas, barbeque areas, salas (tropical outdoor lounges with overhead shade) and some well chosen Balinese sculptures to add even more mystique to these quite unmatchable properties.

Interiors

The villas will come fully furnished to the highest of standards and will be equipped with plasma screens, sound systems, a laptop computer and fine design furniture. Villa designs can be altered to the tastes and requests of owners, so feel free to work with CBR to create your very own bespoke paradise home.
